This policy explains what data KKGet collects and how it is used. The short version: KKGet is a local desktop application — your downloads, files, and browsing stay on your device.

1. What we collect

• Purchases — payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We receive from Stripe the email address you used at checkout, which is stored with your license record so we can deliver and look up your key.
• License activation — when you activate or verify a Pro license, the app sends your license key and an anonymous machine identifier (a random UUID generated on first launch) to our license server. This is used solely to enforce the 3-device limit.
• Nothing else — KKGet does not collect analytics, telemetry, download history, browsing data, or file contents. Your download activity never leaves your device.

2. What we do NOT collect

• No download URLs, filenames, or file contents
• No browsing history from the browser extension
• No usage analytics or behavioral tracking
• No advertising identifiers; we serve no ads

3. Data storage and retention

License records (key, purchase email, machine identifiers, activation timestamps) are stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. They are retained for as long as the license is valid so that activation continues to work. You may request deletion of your data at any time (this will deactivate your license).

4. Third parties

• Stripe — payment processing (Stripe privacy policy)
• Cloudflare — hosting for this website and the license server

We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

5. Your rights

You can request a copy or deletion of the data associated with your license by emailing us from the address used at purchase.
